IT Services major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a tie-up with Chennai-based B-school Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), to launch a management programme on Business Analytics, a first of its kind initiative from both the partners. The effort is expected to address the growing demand in the segment, said a senior management official from TCS.

Considering the increasing demand for business analytics, TCS and LIBA have collaborated to design a management course that specialises in this segment to bridge the existing skill gap in the industry. This will be offered for full time and part time MBA (PGDM).

Fr P Christie S J, Director of LIBA said that while the institution will run the course, TCS was involved in designing the curriculum and would also provide support in expertise. The one-year course will be offered from the academic year 2017-18 and would initially have 30-35 seats allocated.
