The 74th Republic Day celebration was held on 26th January 2023 at 7.00 am at the portico of the LIBA building. Faculty, staff and students assembled to pay respect to all freedom fighters who toiled to bring the constitution of India into existence. Mr. S. Saravanan, Office Assistant, unfurled the National Flag and the Republic Day speech was given by Prof. P. Chandiran, Associate Dean-Week End & Diploma Programmes. The Constitutional Pledge was then administered by Prof. P.C. Lakshmi Narayanan, Dean-Academics, following which the event was concluded with the patriotic run mandated by AICTE to promote and create awareness among the students of the sacrifices of the armed forces. This celebration helped to instill a sense of belonging to the country and an understanding of the efforts made by our freedom fighters because of whom we enjoy the rights laid out by the Constitution today.
