The two-day Staff Retreat at LIBA was held on 29th April 2024 and 30th April 2024 for the non-teaching staff. Presentations focusing on self-awareness, optimal performance, and fostering a positive mindset among the staff were put forward. The Officials of LIBA addressed the staff, emphasizing the importance of staff longevity, cross-functional attitudes, and unity within the institution. Unit-wise presentations followed, highlighting challenges and future plans for improvement in different departments. Rev. Fr. Y. Poondy Rajan, SJ, Finance Controller-LIBA, detailed the policies and procedures for the upcoming year, stressing the importance of emotional balance, productivity, and professionalism. The first day of the retreat culminated with an address by Rev. Fr. C. Joe Arun, SJ, Director of LIBA, encouraging the staff to embrace a culture of gratitude and self-driven progress. On day two a day-long excursion to MGM Dizzee World, provided a relaxing and enjoyable bonding experience for all staff members.
