The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of LIBA organized a Workshop on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) for the Faculty, Research Associates (RAs), Teaching Assistants (TAs), and academic staff from 10th to 12th April 2024. Primary objective of this workshop was to equip participants with essential insights and training on seamlessly integrating the outcome-based approach into our teaching methodologies. Dr. S. Baskar, Dean of Research and Development, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai was the resource person for the three-day workshop. The workshop commenced with an inaugural address and perspective setting by Rev. Fr. C. Joe Arun, SJ, Director of LIBA. Fr. Director provided invaluable insights into the essence of OBE, setting the tone for the workshop. The workshop concluded with a valedictory session. Rev. Fr. Y. Poondy Rajan, SJ, Finance Controller of LIBA, distributed certificates to all the participants, acknowledging their dedication and commitment throughout the workshop. By delving into various aspects of OBE, the workshop aimed to enhance the effectiveness and quality of education imparted by the institution.
