The 19th session of BMI was conducted on 27th February 2024 by Mr. Krishnakumar Menon Advisor & Consultant in Global markets (Auto, Consumer & Industrial products), on the topic Understanding International Business. The session began with the speaker introducing international business, focusing on the manufacturing side. He emphasized the importance of understanding the target market and also discussed the importance of understanding the type of market such as a mass market or a niche market. This will influence product design and marketing strategy. The objective of the Beyond Management Initiative (BMI) is to have an ongoing Industry connect and also expose a student to many societal elements which contributes to the holistic and grounded growth and approach towards work and personal life.
