BEACON 2024, the flagship event of the Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), held on 29th February 2024, with the theme “Sport Ethics: Not only Sportive but also Ethical,” served as a testament to LIBA’s commitment to fostering a culture of integrity and excellence. The event, steeped in LIBA’s rich tradition of promoting ethical leadership, aimed to explore the intricate relationship between sporting endeavours and ethical conduct, emphasizing the importance of upholding values in both personal and professional spheres. Students participated in engaging dialogues and insights from distinguished speakers, including Padma Shri Vasudevan Baskaran, Padma Shri Shiny Wilson and Mr. Prajnesh Gunneswaran. They shared their perspectives on ethical principles and their practical applications in sports, inspiring students to reflect on the broader implications of ethical conduct in their respective fields.
