Dr. Ameeta Fernando is an Assistant Professor in Business Analytics, bringing an extensive academic background and industry expertise to her role. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology/Management from the Loyola Institute of Business Administration and the University of Madras, an M.S. in Software Engineering from BITS Pilani, and a B.Sc. in Physics from Stella Maris College, Chennai. Her multi-disciplinary education provides a solid foundation for her work in business analytics, combining technical, analytical, and scientific perspectives.
With 17 years of teaching experience and nearly 6 years in industry, Dr. Fernando integrates theoretical and practical knowledge, equipping students with essential skills in data analysis and decision-making. Her focus on real-world applications of business analytics enables students to harness data effectively for strategic business solutions.
