Dr. Xavier Britto Endowment Lecture was conducted on 15th March 2024 at the Dr Xavier Britto Auditorium, LIBA. The Dr Xavier Britto Endowment Lecture has been instituted in recognition of the excellent service done in the area of Logistics and Supply Chain Management by Dr. Xavier Britto, Chairman of Kerry-Indev Logistics. LIBA invited Mr. Dinakar Malladi, Senior Director-PEGATRON Technology India Private Limited to deliver the keynote address. Rev. Fr. C. Joe Arun, SJ, Director, LIBA welcomed the dignitaries and audience and he spoke about the vertical of Logistics and Supply Chain, following which the inaugural address was given by Dr. S. Xavier Britto where he reiterated the importance of Logistics for any Economy. Mr. Dinakar Malladi spoke on “Global Logistics and Supply Chain-Risks and Mitigation Measures”. He explained how current World and Supply Chain are now facing different challenges. As part of this endowment lecture, Dr. Xavier Britto Excellence Award to appreciate best academic performance in Logistics and supply chain management studies is given every year to best student of Post Graduate Program in Logistics, (PGP in Logistics. This year the award was given to Mr. Sharen Srinivasaraj of 2022-23 batch, who scored first rank.
