The first edition of the LIBA Alumni Badminton tournament was inaugurated on June 24, 2023, at the Dr. S. Xavier Britto Auditorium, organized by the LIBA Alumni Sports Committee in association with the LIBA Alumni Club. The faculty, staff and more than 50 beloved alumni participated in the tournament. The tournament aimed at re-uniting the alumni, boosting their participation and motivating them to be involved in the progress of the Institute. Rev.Fr. Poondy Rajan, Finance Controller, Mr Janardhanan Menon, Administrator and Alumni Committee President along with Mr. George, Alumni (F16 batch) jointly inaugurated the event by watering the sapling, portraying the growth and prosperity of the relationship between Alumni and Alma Mater. The tournament featured various categories for male and female players. The knockout matches began at 10:30 am, leading up to the final matches. Fr. Director shared his vision of LIBA with all the alumni and updated them on various ways to reconnect with the institute.
