On 20th July 2023 a training session on Hospitality management was conducted by Mr. Kamal, Manager, Esthell Resorts, at the Staff Lounge, LIBA at 4.00pm. The training was designed for the maintenance staff, and aimed to assess the staff’s competencies, identify any skill gaps, and provide training and development opportunities to enhance their abilities for cross-functional and self-management teams. During the training, Mr. Kamal provided guidance on guest service, table setup, and receiving guests. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a presentable and proper posture while interacting with guests. Practical skills, such as table arrangement and holding plates, were also covered in detail. Additionally, the staff learned about serving guests efficiently and the procedures for concluding a meal service. Mr. Kamal also provided insights into preparing beds and offering room service. Throughout the training, the Do’s and Don’ts of attending to guests were highlighted to ensure a pleasant and welcoming environment for visitors.
